Before I start blogging about my life story...and the hike at Glacier Point, let me remind you all, I have never worked out in my whole life!! Ever since I had Eligh(over 3years ago), the only work out I did/do was/is walk back and forth to the mail box, and back and forth inside my apartment, maybe around the complex on a good day. Lol. Yeah, I know, I know how sad!
So, we did a 5.5 mile hike last Saturday(I honestly don't know how I did it), thanks to my in-laws, Steve and Sharlene, they were kind enough to invite us, I thought it was an excellent choice for our little family outings, I was excited and it was actually fun...until the
hike!!!!!!! What an accomplishment it was for me to complete a 5.5 mile hike! I was almost dead by the time we got back to the car, I couldn't breathe, my legs were literally blue, I almost had a heart attack! Plus, we made it back just in time for darkness to arrive, I was certainly not looking forward to camping out with the bears! However, the scenery was absolutely breath taking, I love nature! I can see why people go whenever they get a chance to, it is a neat experience. If you ask me if I would do it again....probably not..the hike that is, maybe next year or two. Lol. Although, I don't mind camping!!! haha

Half Dome, I want to hike there someday!

Grandpa and Eligh

This was worth the trip!

The hikers!!

Our final stop before heading back!

The water was icy coold!!

My sister in-law Sharlene and I.

I guess you could say this picture was well worth the hike! Haha

Bryan and Eligh. The kids threw rocks here and grandpa threw big rocks, and it made a big splash, all the kids were screaming and yelling having the time of their lives!

Domenic and some grand-kids! We are so grateful for Domenic, without him, I don't know how we could have survive the hike, he helped carry Eligh when our weak bodies couldn't take anymore of it!
Overall, we went home sore as ever. Last week I came down with the sickness and was bedridden for days, I caught the flu...no not swine flu, thank God! The trip was neat overall, thanks for the invite guys, you know who you are! We had a blast...minus the pain! haha Oh and by the way, it has been like 4 days since the hike and I am still recovering, how sad! My legs hurt so much, but I think by tomorrow, I should be ok, with the help of my Asian balm!
